Consultation & Treatment for Sagging Skin
Around the age of 20 years old we start to lose our collagen and elastin at a rate of about 1% per year. By the time we are in our 40’s we have lost approximately 25%. This presents as saggy or skin that can be pulled away from the face when we pinch it. By stimulating long term collagen production with a biocompatible synthetic product we can restore some of the skins quality and lost facial volume caused by aging, weight loss or illness.
Activating the fibroblast cell within the face (collagen & elastin making cell) allows a firmness to return to the skin without giving a puffy look.
The frame of the face is treated from the temple to the chin. The mouth areas and eye area are excluded. Generally speaking 2-3 sessions over several months is required depending on the amount of collagen loss with a once a year treatment for maintenance.
As the collagen formation takes several weeks to occur , the effects are not immediate. Improvements to skin texture and natural volume occur over several weeks.
You will need to massage the treated areas for 5 minutes a day for 5 x per day for 5 days
